Facilities and Capabilities
The company is housed in approximately 1500 sq. ft. of laboratory space that is fully equipped for synthetic chemical operations including hoods, refrigerators, evaporators, hydrogenators, and every type of chromatographic equipment. The latest analytical equipment is available to us through a shared arrangement with the university. This includes access to all Mass Spectometric and NMR facilities, Fourier Transform Infrared and Diode Array Ultraviolet spectrometers, and to the Center for DNA synthesis.
The company will undertake:
- the synthesis of known organic substances ranging from the microgram to the kilogram level;
- process and yield improvement to achieve economic or commercially acceptable levels of a desired substance;
- the development of new routes to a needed compound;
- research to discover methods of synthesis for a new or required compound;
- the synthesis of normal DNA oligomers or those containing xenonucleotides
- consultational services both on- and off- site.
